🍁 Classic Pepperidge Farm Stuffing 🍁

With a Twist

Stuffing.jpg

As the leaves turn and the air gets crisp, I find myself reflecting on warm memories and cherished traditions. Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and I can't help but smile thinking about the heart of our family feast—my mother's stuffing. It's a dish that's close to my heart, one that has graced our table for all of my 42 years, seasoned with the love and spirit of our North Carolina home.

This year, my mother passed down the recipe to me, and it feels just right to share this bundle of joy with you. It's a simple twist on the classic Pepperidge Farm stuffing, made indulgent with an extra helping of butter (because why not?), and refined with finely chopped celery and onion for the perfect texture.

Here's how to bring this comfort-filled dish to your table:

  1. Melt a full stick of butter (because everything's better with butter, right? 😄)

  2. Finely chop 2 stalks of celery and 1 large onion for that perfect bite and sauté in butter (2 minutes)

  3. Combine your sautéed veggies (and butter mixture) with 2 cups of Swanson® Chicken Broth and bring to a boil

  4. Off the heat, whisk in two eggs for that extra richness, then fold in the Pepperidge Farm® Herb Seasoned Stuffing along with a cup of turkey bits for a savory surprise.

  5. Gently spoon it all into a greased 2-quart dish and bake at 350°F until it's gloriously golden on top

I hope this recipe adds a dash of warmth to your holiday and I'd love to hear how it turns out for you. Your stories of shared meals and new traditions will be the highlight of my season!

Wishing you a table surrounded by love and a plate filled with comfort.

Warmest regards and happy Thanksgiving!
